| The colourful and bizarre architecture of Antoni Gaudi is a big attraction in Barcelona. If you take a walk up Paseo de Gracia you will pass the Casa Batlló on the left, three blocks from Plaza Catalunya and La Pedrera, three blocks further up on the right. La Sagrada Familia, the famous Gaudi church, is another favourite. You can visit inside and climb the towers, but you also get a good perspective by walking around the church. The Parc Guell, which is up on the hill, is also worth a visit. It is harder to get to, but on a clear day offers great views over the city and the opportunity to appreciate the work of Gaudi in a more relaxed setting.
