Located at 15 Banys Vells, behind Santa Maria del Mar church (city side), this street is not easy to locate if you're unfamiliar with the area. Banys Vells runs parallel to the better known Calle Montcada (Picasso Museum) between Calle Princesa and Paseo del Born.



Apart from the friendly atmosphere, what I really liked about this place was the setting - true Barrio Gotico. The space is large - fight your way past the people at the bar when you come in and you'll find some tables. Around the corner there is another wing - plenty of room and gothic arches.



La Fianna opens from 7pm till late everyday, and offer Sunday brunch from 11am where you can read the European weekend newspapers.
