New Tranvias (electric tram system)

Introduced in 2004, the new electric tram system in Barcelona extends the urban transport system, competing with cars, taxis and buses for the limited street space.
Torre Agbar adds flavour to the skyline

Tower blocks are a rare site in Barcelona and the new Agbar building is already visible from many places.
Mercat de Santa Caterina and surrounds

After several years of slow reconstruction, 2005 will see the inner city Mercat de Santa Caterina reopened, along with several new apartment blocks that will open this side of the Barrio Gotic. Opening May 2005
Palau de la Musica - new concert hall
