Influencers, media and Barcelona

Social media is part of our lives, whether we like it or not. Everyone develops their own sources of information, but it can be really useful to get a few tips from those influencers that are picking up on what’s on, what’s going on, and where to go.

When it comes to choosing a place for brunch, lunch or dinner, many of us automatically reach for our phones to look for recommendations. When you see a line of tourists waiting in line to get into La Cerveceria Catalana in C. Mallorca or Ciutat Comtal on Rambla Catalunya/Gran Via – you can be sure that both places come highly recommended in TripAdvisor or another popular travel site. (Both of these bars offer good value for money, but so do many others).

A reasonable alternative is to walk around and choose places that look attractive and have clients. Many restaurants offer a lunchtime menu for €12 to 15, so that is an affordable way to check the quality of the food and atmosphere.
