The city offers so many locations for movies, advertisements, or even promotional videos set in Barcelona. When you hear Barcelona – what things come to mind? Football Club Barcelona? The party scene or music festivals? The Mediterranean culture? Or the city’s architecture, history and its people?

Every summer Estrella Damm comes out with a new advertisement. They are all good – capturing the spirit of summer, with music and great cinematography. Take a look at the advertisement from 2017 – “La Vida Nuestra“, or “Vale” – featuring Dakota Johnson, or Formentera released in 2009. Citas Barcelona – from Amazon Prime is set to be released on 13 June. The following trailer doesn’t give too much away, but its sure to pull an audience.
Netflix is set to release Bird Box Barcelona on 14 July – which is likely to appeal to lovers of the Sitges Film Festival.
